JOIN THE CREW – Volunteer Info Session with Singapore Film Society

Have you ever want to know what goes behind the scenes in the Singapore Film Society?

Singapore Film Society is a non-profit organisation that's committed to promoting film appreciation in Singapore. We run a whole series of film events in Singapore, including the Singapore Chinese Film Festival, Japanese Film Festival, European Union Film Festival and MINDS Film Festival.

Last year was pretty eventful. On top of the film festivals, we celebrated our 60th anniversary, worked with Netflix to organise the Singapore Premieres of Shirkers and ROMA (with Alfonso Cuaron!!), we lauched our Ultimate Film Festival Guide, and a bunch of other stuff.

Yet we are proud to say that for all that we've done, we do not have a permanent full-time staff on our payroll. And a bulk of our success lies in the work of our volunteers.

This is a session for you to find out more about how to be a part of our team. Do join us to learn more about what it takes to volunteer for the Singapore Film Society, what are the roles available, what is the commitment like and how you can contribute!

We are looking for writers, photographers, videographers, front-of-house support, designers, programmers among many other roles!

Please do feel free to share with us if you have anything else to offer!

There will be existing volunteers and committee members present to answer any and all queries you might have.

See you then!
